Possibly 'Tricolor' (Siebold), a very old and classic variety.

Ooh!!! That's gorgeous! I'm just getting into camellias and hope I don't have any problems growing my first one. How did you root your cuttings?

Semi-softwood cuttings in June or July work best for me - take new growth - dip in your choice of rooting hormone - I use the same soil-less potting material I use for potting on - in my case "Grower's Mix #1 - other's use other mediums, the important issue being good drainage and enough peat or other organic material to keep moist. Stick in a covered frame or a pot with a wire hoop covered with plastic - anything that will maintain a very high humidity. Bottom heat helps, but is not necessary for Camillias. Place in a protected and shaded location. Watering will be minimal if they are well covered and not in a clay pot. Keep an eye on them for mold, etc. and give them time. When they develop a nice mass of roots pot them on and protect for the first winter.
