My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
this one's individual flowers have perhaps the most attractive form of any of my fall-bloomers to me. they resemble roses in all stages of development. it is a seedling of 'shishigashira', camellia x hiemalis, and begins flowering in late autumn, then intermittently during milder days of winter. the form of the shrub is low and spreading, somewhat cascading.
I remember having a discussion with someone about Yuletide last year and I thought for sure it was you. Sorry. I have heard from a few people that say they don't care for it. Its kind of surpsrising to hear, as it is a wonderful plant. Admittedly it is slow growing. Still I really like the single red flowers.
Here is a single flower on one of mine about a month ago. I took some shots of the same plant yesterday but haven't uploaded them yet.
