According to reference book info,this plant was discovered
in 1903 in Yunnan China at elevations of 7000 feet.It is
reputed to have the smallest flowers of any camellia spp.
It is cold tolerant(not a concern for you).1/4" across &
fragrant.Compact growth and slow growing.Lucky are you.I
wish I could get one.This plant probably likes shade as it
comes from gorges in its native habitat. Charlie

Thanks for the info. Mine is a #1 size, a bush about 20" tall (not counting the pot). There are about 100 flowers on it that are on the interior of the branches, with a nice fragrance that is more noticible in sunny weather. I have pollinated many of the flowers, and will let you know if I get some seeds.
