Pink Icicle?

My first thought was Camellia sasanqua 'Cotton Candy'.

I don't suppose you could post a picture with a clearer view of the leaves? In that photo, they look rather dark, but I can't really gauge the size.

If the plant blooms in autumn, and puts on quite a show for 3-5 weeks, it's probably a sasanqua. Japonicas are less likely to bloom all at once, and their flowering season generally goes on for months, not just a few weeks... Also, sasanqua flowers tend to 'shatter' as they drop, while japonicas will usually drop the whole flower at one time rather than petal by petal.

Sasanquas tend to have smaller leaves than japonicas, and often sasanqua leaves are darker, although leaf size is probably a better indicator. Length of bloom season is the best criterion, although japonicas can have their seasons cut short by cold snaps. Cold snaps are probably not such a problem in Zone 10, though...
