The pink single bloom looks like a _Camellia sasanqua_. As you probably know, there are many named cultivars and many seedling sasanquas. Do you think it may be a seedling? Frankly, it doesn't look outstanding enough to be a named cultivar. Nor does the japonica. Could be another nondescript seedling.

They are both lovely whether they are named varieties or not. I especially like the japonica and the fact that it blooms this early in the camellia season makes it more unusual and desirable in my opinion.
