Happy New Year 2010. It is fortunate that bees are where our flowers. Natural pollination in camellias can get seeds and new flowers. Do you know the name of your camellias? Your camellia, closely resembles the 'Camellia sasanqua BELINDA.

I'm sorry I didn't label my camellia picture with its name. It is the sasanqua 'Kanjiro'. I received it last year as a gift. It will be very exciting to me if the bee pollinated it and a seed forms! Gardening gets more exciting every year!

It is fortunate to have bees in the area and to make a natural pollination. There needs to be other camellias in the surrounding areas, for variety. Kanjiro is a great plant. It is a good seed producer and good for grafting in the camellias are obtained from its seeds. In the exhibition held in Boiro in the month of December, had a daughter Kanjiro seed obtained.
