Together with some friends of the AEC, we have helped a member of our Association, to change six of his big Camellias. We transplant them in September, 2006 and they live well.

Top-pruning to create balance with roots at transplanting is not beneficial, actually. Energy from food made in foliage and stored in stems is used to grow new roots after transplanting. More top = more new roots.
