The elusive purple brug. lol There's no such thing as a purple brugmansia. Some of the European hybridizers have been able to develop blooms with a bit of a lavender tint but no purple. Sorry. Maybe he sent you a datura.

It may be a pink then. I hope it is a darker pink then the one I already have. And the leaf color is different.... the leaves are liter green.

It's all good, whatever color it turns out to be. They are all pretty.

Many people sell datura as angel trumpets and don't realize that is the common name of brugmansia. It happens all the time. One lady swore to me she had a purple one her son brought her from overseas and I was dying to get a look at it but it was locked away for the winter in the greenhouse. When I finally saw it was a datura I was soooooo disappointed, lol.
