Starting seed

Is now a good time to be starting brug seed or is it too late. I saw some really interesting crosses for sale on ebay but I'm not sure if it would be too late to plant and I don't want them if I have to store them for later planting. Also, will the seedlings have to be kept in a window or can they go dormant at such a young age?

From my usnderstanding if you start them now you may need to keep them growing overwinter. I don't know if they will be strong enough to go dormant.

You can start seed at any time but Kristy's correct, they won't have the reserves to go dormant and need to be kept growing over the winter. Even many of the plants that I started earlier this year will need to be kept growing.

Get you a couple of grow lights for winter and go for it. I am having so much fun with mine from seed. I have to go transplant them in a minute since they have outgrown their container. They grow fast from seed and its cool to watch.
