Could be the moth that has attacked all of our plants here in Oklahoma. It's called the Genista Broom Moth. The caterpillars travel in mass and literally devour the leaves. The plants do rebound. There seems to be an outbreak of this particular moth this year.

I had eggs in a cluster on my pipevine and again on my milkweed. They were the Brown Marmorated (Asian) Stink Bugs. Now when I see the clusters I know what to do ...

Well, I do have those Stinkbugs, and I did check there Jeff.It says that they lay their eggs on the undersides of the leaves. These eggs are on top of the leaves.
