My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    That would be Herringbone pattern wood flooring. :-) We just delivered some to a client in New England.

    This is french white oak that was cut down on site and laid in a herringbone pattern. The wood was wire brushed, painted white, wiped off, then stained with a combination of brown and black oil based stain.

    Were the floors laid first and then processed as you did above or was the wood processed first, then laid?
