You should be all set in zone 8. I'm prolly going to start planting some of mine up here in zone 5 within the next couple weeks.

I potted mine up the past few days. I will keep them outdoors on my driveway until it gets near freezing, and then take them in to the garage for the night. I won't plant them in the bed until the end of May ( after the full moon).
