I'm in NC in what zone is questionable-some say the line b/t 7a&b, some say 7&8. My red futurity cannas came back just fine.

Not too late to plant them. They are one of my favorites. Go for it.

My cannas all come back unless the critters eat them or we have a hard winter and I'm in zone 7 probably 7a. I have better luck leaving them in the ground than digging them up and letting them dry up over the winter. Good luck with yours. You may want to plant them on the south side of your house or a structure or in a protected area.

I did plant of them and they've broken through the ground and each have about 3 leaves now....

We did have a mishap today when my neighbor rolled his lawn mower over 2 of them.... Do you think they'll keep growing - he cut them down to about 2 inches in size....???

I'm excited to see them in full bloom and height...
