I am an absolute beginer with Canna. I got unnamed seeds from my cousin back from Santo-Domingo.

I didn't know what plant it would be. but looking at the seedpod, the seed and now the leaves, I know this is a Canna.

Now let's get to the 'strange' part : I've noticed that young leaves are literaly crying, with water drops appearing at the leaf surface.
Is it a normal behaviour for Cannas ?

Can this behaviour identify a particular cultivar ?

Or does this young specimen got homesick ? (LOL !)
