flowers falling over?

The whole stalk is falling over and I see no sign of pest or disease. It hasnt been windy just a lot of rain. But the ground is not soggy. Just before it flowers, the whole stem falls over. It has been growing in that spot for two years and its a nice and healthly looking plant? Has anyone had this problem? I dont have a digital camera to show you. If anyone has a clue???
