I just pulled mine!

I am in S.E. Ma. Our town hasn't had a frost yet, but the temperature must have gotten low enough because my canna garden bit the dust early this week. I pulled the plants and washed the dirt off the roots. Tomorrow I'll cut the stalks and store the rhinezomes in the cellar. I am thinking of keeping the rhinezomes in mesh bags, as in fifty pound onion bags. Anyone here try it? Are the bags easy to come by at resturants? Last question, I would like to trade for new varieties. Should I make inquireries here or at another forum?
