Is there a nice bog somewhere in the middle of the state?

Most of the bogs in the state are located in the northern part. That doesn't mean there isn't one, it just means I don't know where one is. Maybe I'll make a few phone calls and see what I can come up with.

Yeah, if anyone has locations of any bogs, that would be cool to visit. In a few weeks here, I'm going to be checking the North Kingsville Sand Barrens :D

I know of one in Ravenna that has sarr purpurea and some sundews and I've read of others.

Where's Ravenna?

Ravenna is further east than Kent. There are better locations around.

Portage and Summit counties (greater Akron area) have the best concetration of bogs in the state.

By the way, I'm in Parma, just south of Cleveland, and have Sarracenia, Drosera and Dionea in bog gardens outside year round.

my small collention consists of a vft,purple pitcher plant,butterwort, and a sundew :)

Small collections have a funny way of becomming huge collections :-) CPs do get into the blood.
