Tropical Humidity provided

It looks like I have nothing else to do these days but nurture my sole B-candida, 6 ft tall, in a pot on my patio. Since it has been so very hot and dry here lately, I wanted to help my baby in some way and I came up with something:

My patio is surrounded on all 4 sides, 2 walls and 2 fences, and a lattice type roof overhead. The floor is paved with bricks. Hot!!

So now I've been out there at least 3 times a day with my garden hose, watering the heck out of the patio floor and mighty proud that it is not totally even, so I get puddles. And that's what I want. I've artificially created some humidity, evaporation, and the moisture in the air just hits me when I go outside. It's like in a greenhouse. Hope my baby likes that.
