Hola Crap!

Very nice and healthy looking. Extremely trappy. Good works!
My own VFT, which I believe to be a dente-green is trapping like crazy, but not as nicely as yours. Its also not shown the slightest hint of wanting to have any red pigment, even though it gets 5 hours of direct sun, 5 hours of indirect sun, and then an additional 4 to 6 of strong lamp light.

I was furious last night, as a green fly and cohort managed to trick 4 of the large traps into closing. One of them got a nice lunch, but I personally hunted the fly down with a rolled up shirt and spray bottle. I sent him to 'swim with the roots', as I buried him alive in the sphagnum. No one screws with my plants. ;)

I'm curious to know how many cclumps of VFT did you put in the pot to make the VFT look that full in the po after they grow???

thanks guys,
I am currently growing this plant in my room's windowsill, the plant gets like 4-5 hours bright light, maybe the reason why the traps are dark, because it grows in a cooler area with nice strong light. Lol, you hunted down the fly? Oh, by the way, i only have like two clumps of the plant, it keeps dividing oftenly.. I heard VFT bigmouths propagate by division than any other vft variety, i had like 2 plants.. now i have like 5 more small divisions, i may take some pics of them later on.

WOW! What a GORGEOUS VFT! Congrats on great growing!

Beautiful VFT. I love the way it forms such a tight clump of traps.

I just gotta get me one of those!

Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing your pics with us.

Very nice plant :) I always love when VFTs are grown so that they clump up the entire pot.

ye very very nice, my typical vft split into three divisions a few weeks back, tis pretty cool.

cheers

I really appreciate your comments, guys. The plant is currently growing in my room's window sill along with other Cps. They all aquire 4-5 hours of sunlight. What i found, the reason why the plant's trpas are dark in colour, is because the type of cultivar, not only that, because maybe its due to the temps that gives the windowsill. That plant is growned in a very bright area, but the window ventilates it self by breezy wind sometimes. So that must be the reason why the traps remain purplish dark and not light green.
