First, get them OUT of the terrarium. CPs do not belong in terrariums. Second, the light is too far away. What direction does that window face? Give them bright, indirect Sun. What type of water are you using? Use rain water or distilled ONLY. No bottled, no tap.

The window faces the south and I do use distilled water. Should i just take the top off or move them out completely and use the open-tray method? My 2 Nepenthes have been doing great ever since I moved them in there, but will they do as well outside the terrarium?

Open tray method. Trust me, I grow a LOT of Adelaes!

The Neps should be out too.

Okay and is the light I'm using good enough?

If you want to you can but I wouldn't take the neps out. Eventually you will have to but for now why not grow them the best you can. The weather is starting to cool down and before long we will be using the heater which will dry the air. Just as your nep becomes acclimated to the new humidity it will drop even more. I know someones going to argue this point but Nepenthes do better with higher humidity. At least mine do. I've seen small nepenthes plants grown in low humidity and they just don't grow as fast. Also that light is not enough. You need at least two of those and have them as close to the plants as you can get them. I have two single fluorescent tube fixtures laying right on the glass top. Find a top that has a dual light setup. I find them at garage sales all the time. Paid a dollar for the last one I bought. You'll be able to use two bulbs like the one you have now. One T8 would be even better. Tommy is the one to take advise from on the adelae, that's for sure. He's a natural. Good luck and happy growing.

I put the bulb in a new fixture and it's 6 inches above the sundews. I just need another light fixture to put another bulb in, and I am a little hesitant about the neps being out because I don't really have room to put the terrarium anywhere else so I kind of wanted to keep the plants all together.
