Capensis is self pollinating I believe. Not sure about the ping. With cape dews when the last flower blooms the first seed pod should be ready. Harvest when pods are brown/black.

If it's P. primuliflora, they produce plantlets on the leaves. If it's a Mexican ping, leaf cuttings are the way to go.

I accidentally burnt my Pinguicula by leaving it outside and frogetting to bring it in. Do you think there is any chance of revivng it? If so how? By the way I feed my Capensis some fruit flies but the leaf hasn't curled arount the fruit fly and its been two days now, is that natural? And for the seed pod do I have to crush it to get the seeds? My final question is how long does it take to grow a full mature Capensis from seed? Thanks in advance.

Your capensis is acting perfectly normal and from seed you need a full year for maturation. As to the ping (can you post a picture?)all you can do is wait it out for new growth.

The Pinguicula is actually fine now after watering it a lot, but thanks for you help.

Do you think a 1:1 Long Fibered Spagathem to Spagathem Peat Moss will work for my soil?

NO the plants will rot. You need something to improved drainage. Roots need oxygen too. Did you read anything at all on the soil search?

I have a layer on the bottom of the terrrarium for the extra water to drain out to, so will they still rot. I didn't get the perlite because I could only find a giant bag of perlite and a bag of perlite with Miracle Grow built in and so that would have to many nutrients.

Would a 1:1:1 spaghatem peat moss to sand to long fibered spaghatem mix work?
