There are many variations of Eureka and Lisbon lemons. Generally, lisbon lemons are thornier than eurekas. I have no idea how long it will take for a meyer to bloom from a seedling. Limes are a lot faster. Since you are in Florida, it would be faster to bloom time than us here in the colder climes. A lot of us here have seeds of limes and lemons but cannot ship those to Florida as per regulations of citrus planting materials. So find a local source. Though I hate WalMart, they oftentimes sell those $9.97 Meyer lemons on the 4"x4"x18" rectangular pots. Home Depot SOMETIMES have them, and they sell for $10.97. These are good prices. In fact, if I had a big yard, I would like these sizes as they grow the fastest (actual experience) compared to the bigger sized potted citruses from the same stores.

Yeah. I was unemployed for a while, and couldnt see spending money on trees. Ive got some seedlings now, and some bargain online nursery plants. Id go to Home Depot or a local nursery (you ARE in FL, should be a lot of choice.) I can find several trees in my city for $20-50 so far.

Key limes were pretty easy from seed. but you have to realize, any seed is at least 3 years away from fruiting. Id personally get 1 that you want the most, then grow others from seed.
