I've seen them online for very high prices, but I don't remember where. If I can find it again I'll post a link. Better to watch local places. I found cezanne at lowes for less than $15, don't remember exactly and vienetta at trader joe's for $9.95. Here's a pic of the vienettta:

It was in the house for several months and did well. It is now in a protected spot outside and I am thinking about a spot to put it in the ground late next month.

I've seen them at both Home Depot and Lowe's as well as local garden centers. They were much less money at the big box stores.

Can I grow it in a container full shade? My patio faces north :( What do I do with it in winter pruning, as you see I live in hot place zone 9b, and it is not cold enough....???

Garden Import's on line catalogue has a great selection this year, including some of the new patio clematis, prices $20-23, I think.

Is anyone from a cold climate overwintering these indoors, and if so, how are they doing?
I saw one of these last year at either Home Depot or Lowes - I wish I knew what it was at the time, I would have bought it! Didn't know it stayed small.

I have not yet come across this one, but I am anxious to find it! I have a bright sunny south facing dining room window in which to place it.

Nurserygman's Exchange is a nursery that specializes in potted blooming plants for mass market outlets. You can find their Bloom Rite Brand in supermarket floral departments and home improvement centers.

I no longer subscribe to the magazine they advertised heavily in so I don't know if they are doing the Patio Clematis series for Valentine's Day but I'm sure they will for Easter and Mother's Day.
