planning for spring -- dark clematis?

I'm interested in a very dark clematis for a corner between clematis "Barbara" and (a little farther away) "blue angel". Looking at Chalk Hill these look intriguing: "negritianka" "black prince" and "romantika".

Anyone have any experience? advice?
