Some potential blooms (pics)

OK, we're getting closer!

First here's a no-ID variegated brug that kept dropping leaves and buds. Still some buds left. Should be open by tomorrow!

Here's my Santa Rosa. It's about 11-12 feet tall. The top of that fence is at 7 feet! These buds are huge. Had to tie this one up after the storm.

Strawberry Creme is at least 10 feet tall. Starting to bloom off and on. This one fell over during the storm too. Way too tall to treat with pesticide!

Dave they look very healthy. Why do you want to treat them with anything. Gosh I wish some of mine would grow half that tall! the NOID varigated looks great. HOpe you post the open blossoms also.

Wow, those are huge! Very pretty. I can't wait to see them open. Something is making little tiny perfect holes in the top leaves of my Naughty Nick. Dang bugs, lol.

That variegated NOID is going to look spectacular in a couple days! The Santa Rosa I got from you still hasn't bloomed! The darn plant is about 7'tall now but it's too difficult for me to see the top to see if it's Y'd yet. I might not cut it back this year and let it keep going in the GH. I want to see blooms on that plant already.

Dave you have some really nice brugs and the height on them is just amazing.How long have you had them in the ground and what are you feeding them?

Dave they look great...I gave all but one cutting of my SR away last fall.. Mine isn't doing much.. Yours looks Beautiful... Be sure to post pics when that NOID opens that should be some show...

Feeding: I think I gave them some Milorganite earlier in the summer. Other than that, they're on their own.

They all went in the ground in May, which was too early this year as we had major rain and cool weather and they sulked. I should have left them in pots outside a while longer until the ground warmed up and dried out. I wintered them over in the garage -- at least the larger ones. The Santa Rosa was already about 5 ft when it went in the ground. Strawberry Creme was about 2 feet. No-ID variegated was about 5 feet.

Karyn, that Santa Rose seems to really want to get TALL before it blooms. Not sure the blooms are worth it...well yes I guess they are. Maybe I can cut off the top half and reroot it. Maybe then it will bloom smaller next year?
