This is a very hardy and floriferous macropetalla type developed on the Canadian prairie (Saskatchewan) by plant breeder Stan Zubrowski. With fertile soil and good moisture, this clematis is a non stop bloomin machine! I love the long petals and wide opening flowers, but I'm not so keen upon the dusty purple colour ... I know Stan personally, and he mentioned it's not exactly his favorite tone. THOUGH, all in all, this is a very desirable plant that is becoming quite popular! I would highly recommend it!
