That is beautiful! Here in NC I can't believe how much new growth is showing since we have had so much cold weather and snow. But it is exciting to see new growth!

Thats gorgeous, looking do do a rose garden memorial for my blessed mother n law.. and decided after the rose forum suggested to mix in clematis..
so here I am.. What type of clematis are both of those??

Oh how pretty! I love clems so much. It looks like you have wire framing your windows? Im going to have to see if i can do that somewhere. Post more pics if you have them! Last year i got super lucky, a local nursery was throwing away their leftovers! In august! So i planted about 20. Unfortunately my neighbors caused a small drainage issue where most of them were planted. I really hope they survive! Anyway, beautiful photo!!!

I use rolled fencing. It comes in a big role at the hardware store. Use tin snips or wire cutters to cut it. I use metal pipe holders to fasten it to the house. If you do this on a tree, leave plenty of slack for the tree to grow.

The photos are from last spring. I'm anxious to see them again.

I still have snow in my yard, so it'll be another month before I even prune.
