To the friends of Miguel,

At times like these we wonder how, why and what we can do to express our feelings for such a kind and generous person. Certainly your sentiments are gold to those who are grieving the most. I wanted to let you know of something I've chosen to do and you can, too. There's a brand new botanical garden being built right in Miguel's town called the Paul J Ciener Botanical Garden. You can find them on the web and they have a Facebook page, too. Miguel was a friend of theirs and was working on some clematis with them.

I've just spoken with the director of The Ciener and he is willing to name a clematis collection at the garden in Miguel's memory. To help it along, they will gladly accept donations. Just call in and tell them it's for Miguel. 336-996-7888 Regular business hours would be best and remember, it's spring. It's a very busy time for them so you may have to try more than once.
