Hi All,

Does anyone have some clivia seeds to trade? I started some last spring and they sprouted. I put them outside in their pots and about midsummer those darned squirrels got in the pots and destroyed the two plants. I left the pots sit the rest of summer and no new sprouts came up.

Please check out my list to see if there is anything you would like to trade.

Hi everyone, I'm new here and would like some advice on growing clivias from seed. I was given a beautiful yellow clivia plant which had seed capsules on it. I have never grown clivias from seed but I would like to try. I removed the seeds and am now ready to plant them. Please tell me do I need wait until they have completely dried out, will they be the same colour as the mother plant and do I need to plant them in a special mix?

Hi Peaches,

Try and check back in Jan. or check on ebay at some of the better sellers. That's the perfect time to try and buy, provided your weather will tolerate seed delivery.
