Oy, this weekend was a tough one. Lots and lots of tree limbs... Has anyone else had to do this same arduous task this fall? :(

My shoulders are killin! lol I forgot how much work it can be, up on a ladder, against a tree to cut limbs down. Got 3 trees taken care of, a 4th one to go. I'll try and snap photos of the large mounds of compost currently laying in the back yard as well as the trees I've trimmed up.

2 of the trees will eventually have to come down. Someone wasn't very bright when they planted the elms less than 3ft away from the fence! :P Ah well... another project for another year! As well as the enormous tree in the back yard, that has to come down eventually, it was struck by lightning a year prior to us moving in. We've been here 4yrs. Next fall I will be planting something or next spring, to replace it, before we cut it down. :)

Reseeding the lawn soon as we get the compost spread out, tilling the back is half way done, next weekend I think it'll be finished. It rained sunday, all day, so DH couldn't finish the job sunday, or monday. Too wet!
