Sorry for the unfortuante loss of your Clivias. The good news is that in the long run, this will probably produce many offsets. Over the next 6-24 months, you will probably see several new buds on the sides. These will take a couple years to get to flowering size, but it is one rather traumatic way to increase offsets of a prized Clivia. Dramatic, but often times successful. Of course, there is a long delay in the flower production and the risk of losing the plant completely.

I would be sure to treat the wound with an antifungal or even root tone. I would keep it on the drier side, since there are no leaves to require water. I would keep the stump above ground and just wait.
