Just wait! Dare I say, you haven't seen anything yet. ;Niobe is one of my best bloomers, very consistent. She doesn't grow very tall for me, maybe 4 to 5 feet at the max, but she blooms her head off for me.

I am so hooked on clematis, I bought another Niobe last week! I planted her on Sunday and this cold weather has not been kind to my new Niobe, poor thing.

You rose people can grow anything.

What kind of fertilizer do Clematis prefer...would cow manure be too strong...and how much to use??

As long as it isn't fresh it would be fine. You can't really over due well rotted or aged manure.

NEVER use fresh manure on any plants. It will fry them.
