Sweet Potato Vines

Does anyone have any sweet potato vines cuttings that they would share in the spring? I didn't find them around here (Michigan) last year at all. How do you think they would do growing in window boxes (only 8" deep) on the deck railing? I really want some for planting for a tropical look in barrels/pots. If I can just get starts I am sure that I will be fine! How about tubers? They would work wouldn't they?

: ) they do just great in window boxes...and mine are only 6", so yours will be just fine. they have a serious cascading habit which makes them great for hanging pots, barrels, urns- I really adore them, myself.

and you might want to check either the plant exchange- or the plant propagation forum...I'm sure people either do, or will be able to help you our with cutttings.
