That is a pretty seedling. The president is big and blue and ruffled. You might look at COW photo's of it and see if you like it.

That one keeps catching my eye too. I hope somebody releases it soon. I'll certainly buy it.

Thanks, flowerfan2 i don't see that it has much in common with the president, which is of course also a cool clematis, and one I grow. I think it's the mauve-blue and crinkle qualities I'm looking for. GSP

I think that this is Blue Angel (Blekitny Aniol).

Definitely doesn't look like my Blue Angel but then again mine can get bleached out within a day to an almost silvery blue in the heat of the summer. Blue Angel also has yellow anthers unlike those in the picture posted.

Claire de lune was the first thing I thought of. (Also called Blue Moon I think)

It definitely looks like my Blue Angel, but I have another one that looks similar- Prince Charles, a very nice part shade blue clematis. They are both great plants.

It's not Blue Angel. The stamen are too dark.
