Pole beans for Japanese beetles?

I had a ton of JBs this year, almost exclusivley on the pole beans, They weren't a very prolific or tasty variety, but I'm considering planting them again as a trap crop for JB's.

I've heard JB's love to eat corn silks. Never saw a JB on the corn at all, they just loved the bean leaves.

If I didn't plant the beans I'd either have no JB's or still have the JB's and they'd destroy my corn.

What do you guys think?
