Pat, Sizaia Ptitsa was a mere small plant a couple of years ago and since then it has proven its weight in gold as far as blooms go. I still wouldn't say it is as floriferous as Petit Faucon for me but it is still one great plant. Juuli and Durandii are also two other integrifolias that bloom quite a bit for me. I have Zobleupi but it was only purchased in the spring of 2006 so its true blooming character I would not venture to say. Miranda was purchased last year and bloomed only a few blooms for me but then again you can't base its future blooming patterns on such a young plant. As far as I know Miranda only became available here in the states last year. I don't think Amelia has been available here for long either so you might have limited experience with them from anyone on this forum unless they live in the UK or other countries where they may have been available longer. Sometimes it can take quite a few years before some selections offered in Europe become available here, if they ever do.

Another purple blue integrifolia hybrid (I think it is even though the parentage has been withheld)you didn't mention that I really like and Gardengal said blooms very well for her is Harlow Carr. It is a strong performer in my garden.

Pat, I prefer Sizaia Ptitsa to Durandii any day. My Durandii has been in my garden longer than SP and it doesn't bloom anywhere as much as SP does. Just realize that every clematis' bloom pattern may differ from garden to garden based on a variety of factors including whether you dead head it or allow the seeds to develop.

Miguel, I still can't read images on this forum. Very frustrating. But I went onto your Photobucket and saw your Sizaia Ptitsa. Gorgeous. I couldn't find Zobluepi, though. I was in 2008; I'll try 2007.

I missed Harlow Carr because it's not listed as an integrifolia. Debbie has it and does list it as an integrifolia, so I suppose she thinks it behaves like one. I don't have much space in that spot. Do you think I could plant Harlow Carr in a 1x1x1 hole like an integrifolia? That's one of the reasons I was focusing on the longer integrifolias rather than the shorter viticellas or other prune 3's.

I was surprised they hadn't been because, for some reason, yours are the only images that show up on this forum. I spent a couple of days on this problem last summer and have just given up.

Pat, Zobleupi was in the 2007 album. I must admit however that I am rather bad about naming my pictures. When I download to the computer I am notorious for calling them various or blues or reds, or whatever since if I name them with exact names, the files are arranged alphabetically on my hard drive and then I have a difficult time finding which ones I need to upload to the Photobucket account. Sometimes I will rename them once they are in my Photobucket account, but if I forget to do so and then post them somewhere, I can't rename them without destroying the direct image links to the pictures that I put on the forums where I post.

Depending on the size of the plant you get, I am sure you can plant the integrifolias in a hole the size you mentioned. I have yet to dig a 3 X 3 X 3 foot hole that is often written about when planting clematis.

Juuli has been a real workhourse for me. It puts on a much better show than Durandii, which I've had in the garden far longer.

Juuli also blooms better than Durandii for me. In fact it blooms better than any of my other non clinging Clemmies.

I have Arabella, Inspiration, Juuli, Petite Faucon, Durandii, Pangbourne Pink, Fascination, Gazelle, Alionushka and C. integrifolia.
