What a bright colorful combo for your cloudy day BorS.

Clouds are good for photos but I just hate getting wet when I garden. I sure wish we could swap places in each other's gardens once in awhile. I would so love to come visit each of you and have each of you come visit me in the damn rain. ;)

It rained all day yesterday except for a couple of hours when I took the pictures and it is raining now. Rained all day Friday and Saturday was nice but I was dizzy from medication so was useless. I was able to tuck a few Clems up into their trellises and that was about it.

I would swap in a heart beat. I love gardening in the rain and my best trip so far was to Ireland where it rained everyday I was there and I loved it. It is already hot here, its been over a week since we had a decent rain, and the grass here is already showing signs of stress. I love the rain and will never complain when it rains.

Sorry you are feeling so cruddy with your new migraine medicine. Hope that things straighen out for you soon. Maybe you need a Caribbean cruise to sort out your blues. My next one is in November and I am already counting the days!

It's pouring rain up here in the Tacoma area too. It is making the plants grow in leaps and bounds though. You are ahead of me. My Piilu doesn't even have buds yet. My type 2 have just started blooming in the last week or 2 and nothing yet on my integrifolia or type 3's. I guess it's warmer rain down there in the Portland area. I love your photo's. Karen

Alas, I cannot afford a Caribbean cruise. If I could, I would go to Hawaii. I had a very bad honeymoon in Jamaica and much preferred my tenth anniversary in Maui. Heck, I'd like to go to San Diego or Phoenix or Las Vegas even.

You ought to try St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. All three are tropical paradises. I have heard similar reports on Jamaica from others who have traveled there.

If it's any consolation, Saturday was too darn hot to be traipsing around through all the gardens we went to on the tour. We were most definitely swampy and stinky feeling by the end of the day.
