I've had packages arrive that were cut in half--they had been run over (you could see the tire tracks!) and the plant survived. I took it to PO and asked why it happened???---Basically I was told Sh-- happens! Boy that gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling!!!

My post office probably did it thinking I was smuggling drugs or something. They always ask me what kind of plants it is that I am mailing so much of back and forth all the time, lol. I will write worthless package please kill me on it next time, lol.

LOL that is too funny. I rarely ever tell the post office I am mailing plants, I am afraid of getting the third degree from them. I just say it is fragile.

You should have seen what the PO did to a box that I received from FL. It looked like they set a pack of wild dogs lose on it! lol Unfortunately the plant was pretty beat up as well : ( I'm glad to hear that your plant was in good shape.

My PO people know. The all wanted cuttings when they found out what I was mailing all the time. Once it's out of their hands, it's a completely different story. Some of them looked like they tried to play basketball & didn't know you can't dribble a box.
