My Asao is full of buds and blooms. Lemon Chiffon has opened as has Daniel Deronda. Asao is several years old and the others are were planted last fall from #1 pots.

It's such fun to go out and find another clematis in bloom.

That's one of the things I most love about gardening. In the spring, you go out and find all the plants that survived the winter, and from then on, you go out and see what's new in bloom. Not to mention the good exercise and fresh air you get from gardening, and the brightening of your yard, and the hummingbirds and other wildlife you attract.

Can you post some pics? I'd love to see what these all look like.

I think I really must have Asao along with Piilu ~ sigh! None of the nurseries have it nor any of the big-box stores! I just got 2 baby OSO Easy roses & the Pink Chiffon baby Clem that I'll raise in containers to make me happy 'til next season!!!
