Seiko, any plant can be used to support a clematis provided the clematis in question won't get too big over time and overtake the plant. The banana should have no problems with any of the clematis you have listed. Some of the ones you have listed are type IIs and some are type IIIs but living in Texas, you can easily treat them all as type IIIs and therefore not worry about any of them getting too big for either the banana plant or the azaleas.

Just realize that in Texas with afternoon sun, you are going to have to supply a lot of moisture for the plants to grow well. Mulching will help conserve moisture for your plants as well. Full afternoon sun may very well bleach out the blooms on some of the clematis you have listed including Ramona which bleaches badly in my zone7a garden. A general rule is that the lighter the color of the flower, the more it tends to bleach out in the afternoon sun.

It's great to know I can treat type IIs as type IIIs so that I don't need to worry for the azaleas.
It makes me things so easy.
I'm going to try to chose darker color clematises also.
Yes, in Texas with afternoon sun is really harsh!
At least, I put the micro irrigation in the front foundation bed last year so that I can water them easily.
Just I don't know how much I have to give them water in the summer though.
