It is alive!

Since the bottom of the tree was still barely green, I have been taking it in and out (not out all the time) and the tree is starting to sprout new branches. There is definitely one or two above the graft line and I have been rubbing off the ones below the graft. I have this one, which is the biggest growth and it is literally coming from the graft joint. What will the leaves of the rootstock look like? At what point should I try and cut off the main stem where it is brown and should I cut leaving some brown or cut where it is green?

Thanks to all that indicated in my prior postings that it was still alive i definitely didn't think it would come back and even ordered another one.
