Looks like it possibly is clematis "Polish Spirit" a really bloomer in my garden..the best of all my clematis...Jeanne
ps..when sharing always take a closeup of the picture so we can see the anthers,filaments and bar

I have that one in my gardens and it's very similar to polish spirit except PS has some reddish purple on it's anthers and your are pure yellow like my "Galore"..Jeanne
ps...see why anthers,bars & filaments are important in id-ing..always give a closeup..thanks

Hmm, interesting... I would've said Gary's is PS, not because I've ever seen one, but because my Galore is a dark purple with no red in it at all. I love it because of that. But my Galore does have the yellow anthers, like Gary's flower. So maybe the difference in color is due to differences in soil.
