“My wife and I recently had the opportunity to add an outdoor living area to our house of 19 years. On the recommendation from a friend in the building trades, we hired Bryant Boyd to design and provide build to spec drawings. He and his staff were very easy to work with throughout the entire process.
When it came time to solicit bids, we included Bryant Boyd along with two other well known and highly recommended builders. He was the only one who arrived with every one of the associated building trades and he was the lowest bidder. AND not only was everything completed ahead schedule but to my surprise, when all of the incremental billings came in, it was under cost.
Throughout the construction process, Bryant and or the project supervisor came by each day (sometimes more than once a day) to make sure every process was running smoothly.
The final product has been described as something out of a magazine and we owe it all to Bryant and his staff. A photo should be available on J. Bryant Boyd's web site and on his profile. We felt so strongly about the final results that we posted a sign on our front lawn and invited everyone to drop by on 7 Oct to see first hand the final product. If you would like to see the completed outdoor living area, you need only to arrange through a member of Mr. Boyd's staff; we would be more than happy to show off the results of Bryant's design and build team.

“The Katz Builders team is very professional. We have worked on dozens of projects together over a span of over 25 years (my firm draws the plans and Katz does the construction) and every one of my clients who has used Katz for the construction project has been very pleased with quality, professionalism and service. The level of personal attention and care they provide is unparalleled. In one remodel, for instance, they painstakingly removed the original wood casing from doors and reinstalled it after the remodel was finished. Their tile installer did my own floors and I was extremely impressed with how carefully he and his lead installer planned the layout to make sure that the tile was centered on several different axes as well as ensuring no small slivers of tile at edges and other subtle things I would never have noticed had they done it incorrectly. If something "doesn't seem right" about plans we have provided, the Katz team always call to make sure they get it right rather than "winging it" in the field risking misinterpretation of our intent. They have used many of the same sub-contractors the entire time I have known them which means to me that they have loyal sub-contractors and you will get consistent and high quality results from them. And, once again, I want to mention that in all these years I have not once had a homeowner come back to me and complain about them as their builder. That is very rare in this business.”

“This is the second renovation project where I used Blue Diamond and I am very happy with the outcome. The project began on our agreed upon schedule date. The project included moving a powder room and a laundry room to the other side of my home, as well as open the existing kitchen to the family room. I provided my own designs for the new kitchen, & bath/laundry combo. Both completed rooms look very much like my original design. One small change was suggested by Giuseppe, the cabinet maker, in order to maintain the maximum opening between my family room and my kitchen. Giuseppe worked with me confgiure all the cabinets to my specifications. The custom cabinets are exceptional. Sergio, the countertop fabricator had a difficult task to bookend different slabs of White Macabus and match the viening down my island's waterfall edge. Sergio was able to match the major veins on the top of the island down the sides. On an addition to the job, where I miscalculated the amount of tile needed, the installer was able to cut the pieces in a way to have just enought to finish the job without having to have extra grout lines for fill in pieces. As in all construction projects there were issues, but Blue Diamond worked with me to resolve everything to my satisifaction. One miscommunication on the beam specifications resulted in additional costs, but this was due to the cost of using steel vs lvl. I did have some overage on the electrical, as there was not a clear electrical plan to start with. In addition, my home to now needed to comply with the current build code and I was surprised with additional costs to install 8-9 new smoke detectors”
