I have had a lot of fun growing seedlings also. It is always fun to see what kind of flower you get. Some of my clematis are so prolific. Nelly Moser produces so many babies! I have gotten all kinds of interesting flowers from her. It's fun. You will have to post a photo if it blooms this year. Here are a couple of seedlings that bloomed for me this spring.

How do you grow your seedlings? It's been my understanding that it's somewhat challenging to start clematis from seeds? Can you describe your method? When do you plant, where? potting mix? cold chill, etc.

Hi Robert, I have been letting Mother nature do the planting. I have a lot of clematis in my yard so there are always volunteers coming up every year without any effort on my part.
