I hope you don't mind, I tried to post your photos directly - Micro, I am not sure they are in same order...

ID - anyone else?

1. {{gwi:639176}}

I really need the ID of 10 , 6 , 2.

Thanks.

Are you going according to your list, or rina's list?
Because the number are mixed up on rinas

Rina's list is the new standard list.

So my answer is based on her list.

Ok, so i think number 2 is polaskia chichipe.
Have no idea about 10 and 6

Sorry to make you work twice...thanks for not giving me hard time!

Skande

is it a nursery/plant store or?

Rina

yes it is a kind of very big garden wich sells the vast majority of its products. So I guess its a nursery.

Please I really need help for 10 and 6 , I'm looking for a Trichocereus Peruvianus and I need to know if it is here or not.

Thank you.

None are Trichocereus (Echinopsis).

Oh thank you , but are totally sure of your statement ?

what are the main characteristics of the trichs ?

Thanks

One of the main characteristics of echinopsis (in which trichocereus is included) is ther very large, showy flowers. I dont really know if there is a way to tell them apart from other cacti without knowing the actual name of the plant though.

Zech,

If you look up the meaning of 'Echinopsis' you'll see why that classification used for columnar cacti is wrong from the word 'go'.

Thank you, Cactipedia!

------------Begin Quote------------

The genus name "Echinopsis" derives from the Greek word "echinos (õÃÂùýÿÃÂ) " meaning "porcupine or hedgehog", "sea urchin" and the word "opsis (ÿÃÂùÃÂ)" meaning "appearance, seeing, like" referring to the spines that cover the plant as it looks like a rolled up hedgehog.
( The genus name implies: "like a porcupine").

#10 is Neobuxbaumia polylopha.
