Well, I just got back from vacation and my 2 year old Bourbon Clematis looked dead. We have had very little rain here in So WI since June-I had asked my teenager to water and she claims she did, but the Bourbon looked as if it had just gone thru winter. There were 2 vines that still had some green at te top. I pruned it down to the ground and watered it, is there anything else I should do? Thanks for any help you can give me.
