I don't know about the montana but the Madame Julia will be fine.

As long as the stems are alive I think they will survive and that in your zone you will see new growth on them soon. Be sure to keep them watered. You might not have blooms on the montana next spring as it blooms on old wood and don't know if you have enough growing season for new growth now to be considered old wood next year.
