Oohh! Where'd you get the gorgeous Arctic Queen buyorsell? I'm heading down to Portland next weekend and may have to check it out! We always like the same stuff and always find each other on all the forums. Arctic Queen is my next must-have!

Wow, very gorgeous flowers. I love the Natascha and Ruutel combo. It is so pretty. Did you order Natascha from mail order or did you find it locally? It is so nice to see pretty flowers on a cold wet day when I am stuck inside. Everytime I have a day off it rains. I am never going to get anything done in the garden this fall. My clematis are winding down now. I have sweet autumn clematis, rehderiana, rooguchi, Jackmanii and John Paul II still blooming. Everything else is just memories until next spring. Here's SAC growing through a blueberry.

Beautiful buyorsell! What are the thoughts on the one that you think is a palette? And where did you get it?

Great combo there with Natascha and Ruutel. Your unknown viticella is nice looking also. Could also possibly be Tango. Was it an unmarked one or is it not what you thought you purchased?

Your "Artic Queen" is stunning.....I love clematis "Natascha" with those beautiful Pink and red Anthers/connectives...truly gives that clematis its WOW factor!!...Jeanne

Flowerfan, those are nice pics. I don't have either one of those. SAC too big. I do have some large flowered type II's blooming now, some were whacked, some weren't.

I bought them all locally. Natascha at Cornell Farm. Ruutel at Portland Nursery, I think.

Natascha was really gorgeous before it faded, same color as Ramona. I did plant it with Ruutel on opposite sides of the same fence so they will grow together somewhat. I thought Ruutel really brought out the red anthers.

The viticella I got at Ferguson's. It had no tag. There were no others like it with tags. I grabbed it because it had at least twelve stems in a one gallon pot and had no mildew even though it was surrounded by others that did. I liked the small leaves. It was not flowering at the time. I just knew it had small flowers because it had small buds. Tango, Pallette and Minuet where on my list of possibles. It is too dark for Minuet though.

These photos are several weeks old. The photo organizing/uploading program that came with my camera, Olympus Camedia Pro, sucks. My computer is also old, Win 98SE and has little memory, 256mg and it is a PITA to upload and sort photos and then to get them to Photobucket because I can't download them from the camera program. I have to save them to my documents first and I have to write the numbers down because I can't see the photos then.

Oh, I hope that is Palette because I just planted it, and I think your picture is gorgeous. It looks exactly like the one on COTW, though I realize there are a couple others out there like it.

The color of your unknown is very much like Keremesina, but she blooms more outfacing than drooped. I have started uploading the clems that bloomed this year (most sparcely since they are mostly young) to Photobucket, but have only gotten up to the Cs.

My Kermesina is much more red than the pink in BorS's photo and has less white in the center. It is the center one in the following picture that I have previously posted.
