Different kind of question

Ok all, here is a good one. Will clematis roots break or otherwise invade a large PVC pipe the exits my house. The pipe would be under a raised bed with the clems about one foot to 18 inches above it.

Who in their right mind would run a major pipe at ground level out of the front of a house???? SHEEEEEEEEESH.
