I'm so happy that your Reiman's going to make it! Clemmies are very tough cookies and can take quite a bit of abuse.

Yeah I did want it back in the ground. It's going to get eastern sun where it's at now. When I get a trellis for it next year, I'm thinking of growing an annual vine with it. Perhaps a morning glory or moonflower with it?

Those will not play well with your clematis. Too aggressive.

Bob, what would go well with my clematis? Would nasturtiums work? They don't seem to be as aggressive as MGs or moonflowers. Reiman's more compact than most clematises so I can see how the MGs and moonflowers would take over.

I have no experience with nasturtiums but I'm sure they would work better than MG's or Moonflowers. Maybe someone with experience will help out here.

Some people grow climbing roses with clematis. Check with Jeanne_Tx..I think she is one that does this and has wonderful luck and beautiful clematis and roses.
